Amazing Cacti in the Desert!
July 25, 2023

I apologize for the delay in updating my blog. This year, I have been struggling with some health issues, where I would start to feel better but then fall ill again. My priority is to take all necessary precautions to maintain my health and share my stories with you.

Unfortunately, I have had to postpone my arts and crafts interviews again due to health issues and being occupied with other important matters. But I haven’t given up on them altogether – just taking things a bit slower. On another note, I’d love to show you some photos I took of cacti during the spring season. It was astonishing to me how beautiful their blooms can be! While walking, I came across two types of cacti with particularly gorgeous flowers. There was the Night Blooming Cereus Cactus, with its delicate white blooms, and the Staghorn Cholla, which had bloomed in vibrant shades of yellow and pink. Even though the flowers only stuck around for a few days, it was still a breathtaking sight amidst the desert landscape. I am always amazed by the wonders of Mother Nature. Since moving to the desert city, I have developed a greater appreciation for the beautiful cacti of the natural desert landscape.

I’ve recently started my cacti garden and plan to share some photos in an upcoming blog post. When handling these plants, I strongly suggest investing in gloves impenetrable to cactus needles. Even if a cactus appears to be needle-free, tiny needles are still present and invisible to the naked eye.

As we await my next blog post, it is essential to prioritize your physical and mental health. Remember to take a moment to laugh at yourself now and then, as it can positively affect your soul. Time flies by, so make sure you enjoy the journey. Take care, and stay healthy and safe!
